As of May 15th 2004, The Peoples Flautist is now Kymberly Jackson, MFA! Yes thats right folks I earned my Masters in Fine Arts-Performance and Literature, from Mills College. I would like to take this opportunity to thank my professors, advisor David Bernstein, Flute Teacher, Michelle Caimotto, and reader Maggi Payne, for their efforts and contributions to in bringing me to this point in my academic career. Also a HUGE thank you to everyone in my family and friends for everything that all of you have done to support me during the last academic year--this is not just my degree, it's OUR degree!! And of course nothing can be done without the help of ocha and eggun! Modupue Orisha, Modupue Eggun! Ashe!

FYI, I am currently in El Mundo Bueno recording studio's working putting the finishing touches on the album. It should be ready for release in June of 2004!
